TIM has multiple graphs (ABFT DAG) based on demand which makes the blockchain. With an underlying sublayer of distributed DAGs (graphs), the global blockchain achieves high transaction rates.
GPS BASED GEOGRAPHICALLY DISTRIBUTED GRAPHS
The network creates (or merges) new graphs based on demand across geolocation. TIM network is available to whole world through one of these graphs. The modified Kademlia library of TIM makes node hash addresses which connects by physical vicinity.
THREE TYPES OF TIM MINERS
The blocks are generated by consensus miners after aggregation from all graph miners. The graph miners create micro blocks by peer reviews using a set of protocols to detect double spending and inter-graph double spending. The challenger nodes are a tertiary mechanism to maintain vigilante based sanity of network
FREE & SECURE SUBCHAINS
Subchains of TIM are secured by challenger node who claim bounty reward of offenders. There is no mining fee. The bounty is awarded by main network after a positive escalation by challengers.
QUANTUM PROOF ENCRYPTION
The multigraph generated by sharding of TIM network acts as the Ramanujan's graph for generating quantum resistant keys. The key generation works for network size of above 400, therefore is a future readiness feature. Read more in whitepaper.
DISTRIBUTED MERKLE TREES
TIM blockchain stores all transactions in immutable merkle trees. And every node on TIM network can download a copy of it to validate the transactiosn for self. But it is cumbersome to validate all 500 Million Transactions, during full load. Therefore TIM stores the transaction into distributed merkle trees. As shown the graph, each node has to firstly download the multigraph generated by network sharding(as shown in orange lines.). The multigraph is a kind of signature which is available in transactions also. Because the network keeps forking and merging into DAGs based on demand, this behaviour leaves some interconnects amongmerkle trees of each DAGs. These interconnects are a popular and unique signature of authentic longest chain. The multigraph are small in size and have very low growth rate, therefore everyone can easily maintain a copy of it.
